The public is invited to attend an opening reception for the Kershner Gallery’s current Community Show, Expressions of Love, on Thursday, January. 15, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Fairfield Library.

The exhibition will be on view from January. 10 through February 28 during regular library hours at the Fairfield Library, located at 1080 Old Post Road.

The Community Show features work by artists from the area and explores interpretations of love through color, imagery, composition and personal experience. The exhibit was not juried; artists who submitted work by the deadline were accepted until the gallery reached its predetermined capacity.

As a result, the show presents a wide range of artistic styles, materials, themes and scales, offering visitors a diverse and inclusive look at how love can be expressed visually.

The Kershner Gallery regularly hosts exhibitions highlighting regional artists and community participation. Admission to the reception and exhibition is free and open to the public.
